Our half-orphan, Glody, was discovered by the Fondation La Grande Team Congo as a young teenager working as a street vendor selling cassava flour. However, selling cassava flour wasn't enough to finance his education, so the Fondation La Grande covered the young man's school fees. Thanks to the comprehensive support and therapy provided by the visionary and founder of the Fondation La Grande, the formerly traumatized teenager was able to graduate with a degree in architecture. Today, he volunteers with the Fondation La Grande in Congo, where he helps the directors and caregivers support widows and orphans and is involved in overseeing the construction of orphanages and retirement homes. Glody's story shows that with the right support, even the greatest obstacles can be overcome. He is a living example of how determination and help from others can transform into a positive future. His dedication to helping others in similar situations now inspires many and proves that everyone can make a difference.

Helping orphans
With the increasing Due to the increasing number of orphans in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the La Grande Foundation has initiated the construction of a two-story orphanage. Every year, we organize special celebrations and outings for the orphans. Furthermore, the on-site caregivers receive regular training to ensure they can adequately address the needs of the orphans. All of the orphans in our care in Goma and Kinshasa have experienced traumatic experiences and require ongoing therapy. With your donation, you will help the orphans find new hope despite their sad fate.

Belleviena
Success stories we know. After losing her parents and moving in with a relative, her life was overshadowed by grief. Falsely accused of causing her parents' deaths, a normal life seemed unattainable. But when a visionary learned of her story, Belleviena—formerly known as Malviena—was accepted as a beneficiary of the aid organization La Grande. Thanks to generous donations, she has since received both physical and mental health therapies and has continued to develop. Today, she attends school and is one of the most successful students, which encourages us all.
