Help widows!
If a woman has no children and her husband has died, the widow, in her advanced years, is often viewed as a burden. Due to entrenched social stigmas, these widows are often stigmatized as witches or cursed women and quickly end up on the streets.
A sad fate that many of our widows have experienced and are experiencing.
With your help, you can give one or more widows a new hope for life and enable them to age with dignity! Everyone has rights, even if they no longer have anyone.
That’s what Fondation la Grande stands for!
How to help?
Through your donation, the aid organization ensures their material and immaterial well-being.
In 2021, for example, an apartment was built for a widow in a very short time, in which she still lives.
We are pleased to be able to provide monthly care for a total of 16 widows since 2021.
The more partners the aid organization has, the more widows can be helped.
