Democratic Republic of Congo

Learn, understand, act

Why a workshop about the Congo?

The Democratic Republic of Congo is a country full of contrasts: immense wealth in natural resources and breathtaking nature – and at the same time a place of immeasurable suffering. Decades of conflict have claimed millions of lives. Many speak of “silent genocide”, about which the world knows far too little.

But Congo is not just about pain. It is also a land of joie de vivre, music, dance, and a culture that finds its strength in color, song, and community.
